My name is Philipp and you are reading Creativerly, the internet corner where I unpack my musings, curate and write about noteworthy apps and software, and explore the latest trends in design and tech.

Hey and welcome to Creativerly 368 👋

We are halfway through March already... how? How? Do not get me wrong, I am very much looking forward to longer, sunnier, and warmer days, but it feels like we just entered 2026 like last week. On the other hand, looking back to the past 2 1/5 months, I have been doubling down on doing new things, which led me to a much happier place. I got confronted with so many uncomfortable situations, which only seemed like that in the first place, but as soon as I made the first step out of my comfort zone, the impact on my life, mental health, and growth has been profound. So, while time is flying by, I deeply appreciate how 2026 is taking shape.

Growth often lives just outside of what feels safe. Whether it is trying new hobbies, meeting new people, or simply saying 'yes' to opportunities that scare me a little, each step has added layers to my life I did not even know I was missing. If you are feeling like time is slipping away, I encourage you to lean into the discomfort too. The magic happens when we stop waiting for the 'perfect' moment and just begin. And sure, not every 'new thing' has been a home run, there has been plenty of awkward moments and facepalms, but even those are stories now, and I will take stories over stagnation any day.

Therefore, here is to more 'uncomfortable' moments, because they are the ones that make life feel alive.

And now, enjoy this week's newsletter!

Mental Wealth

What do coders do after AI? – “For the New York Times Magazine this Sunday, I talked to Clive Thompson about one of the conversations that I'm having most often these days: What happens to coders in this current moment of extraordinarily rapid evolution in AI? LLMs are now quickly advancing to where they can virtually become entire software factories, radically changing both the economics and the power dynamics of software creation — which has so far mostly been used to displace massive numbers of tech workers.”

Digital media is using negativity to steal our attention — here’s how to reclaim it – “With the internet and its widespread accessibility, many of us have front-row seats to widespread suffering and death across the globe for the first time in history, even when we are not directly affected.”

Velocity Is the New Authority. Here’s Why – “Why does everyone feel overwhelmed by information? Why does it feel impossible to trust what passes through our streams? We tend to blame individual publications, specific platforms, or bad actors. The real answer has less to do with any single media entity and more with structural changes in the information ecosystem.”

Consistency is Primitive – “Over the last week, I’ve been setting up design-to-code systems that have had a profound effect on how our design team makes and ships things. We create files in Figma that are translatable by machine—integrated with Anima to produce HTML and CSS files, compiled and refactored by Claude, then implemented by providing Claude with contextually relevant information and code. Existing templates, stylesheets, configuration files—all fed into a system that can maintain, expand, and transform what a human team built over years, comparatively instantly, with one person and a machine.”
